Spokane, I want to be honest with you.
Running an independent restaurant right now is hard, and we're not the only ones feeling it. Winter is the toughest stretch of the year, and after a challenging summer for everyone, this one could be harder than most. So we're making some changes at Uno Más, and I'd rather you hear them from me than find out from a sign on the door.
Starting Tuesday, October 20New hours
Fewer hours, so the hours we're open, we can do right.
Lunch + dinner, togetherOne new menu
Lunch and dinner are now one menu, built from the favorites you've shown us you love: street tacos, our quarter-pound Big A** tacos, birria, burritos like The 509, bowls, plates off the fire, nachos, Lula wings and churros. Same kitchen. Same people. Same flavors you love.
Plus!A bigger happy hour
We've gone all in, in fact it is twice as big and includes: the chip & dip trio for $10, Lula wings for $10, and two street tacos for $10. House margaritas are $6, pints are $5, a beer and a shot is $7, and margarita pitchers are $30. We think happy hours might be the secret ingredient to getting through winter happily.
Holiday parties & moreGather with us
Holiday parties, team dinners, birthdays, game nights, watch parties, or any excuse to get everyone together. Our Mezzanine upstairs holds up to 40, and the main-floor cantina fits bigger groups. We do the food and the bar, you bring the people. Or we'll bring Uno Más to you with offsite catering.
For those on the run, we still have our $50 Fiesta To-Go Taco Pack, freshly prepared when ordered. It's a taco bar in a box that, with all the fixings and rice and beans, feeds two or three. Order one, or more, online and pick up at the shop.
So here's my ask, for us and for every local place you love: think local. Make the dinner plan, bring the friend who hasn't been in, and book the holiday party with us or with another place owned by a neighbor. If money's tight, a recommendation or a share helps more than you'd think. And don't forget, a little kindness goes a long way while local businesses navigate change, and when we miss the mark, tell us and let us make it right.
If we want a great city, we need to be champions of our local businesses. Thank you, Spokane. We can't wait to see you this winter.
